Dr. Krasnick has been in practice with Eastside Eye Physicians for over 30 years. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and a medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed his surgical ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital / DMC in Detroit.

He is on active medical staff at St John Ascension health system and has been involved with the teaching faculty at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit for many years. Dr. Krasnick has been named a ’Top Doc ‘ in ophthalmology multiple times by Hour magazine. He has published work in the management of corneal disease and has lectured on the use of multifocal intraocular lenses for cataract surgery. Dr. Krasnick enjoys community outreach and teaching in the community. His surgical interests besides cataract surgery with laser-assisted customization include LASIK and PRK refractive surgery, microinvasive glaucoma procedures, upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and many ophthalmic laser procedures
